Adobe today launched a web based version of its imaging software – Photoshop. The tool is nicknamed Photoshop Express. This is the latest addition to its existing set of online tools. Earlier, Adobe acquired Virtual Ubiquity to add the online word processor – Buzzword to its kitty. It also introduced an online document sharing tool called Adobe Share.
Photoshop Express is also Flash based and uses Flash Player 9 to run. Interestingly, this software also caters well to the Facebook generation. The tool can integrate with social networking as well as image sharing sites.

Photoshop Express is not Photoshop so lets refrain from calling that. It has just basic features of any photo editing tool available online. What differentiates Photoshop Express from other tools is the usage of flex as the platform, which is really applaudable.
It will take some years before we would see all the tools of Photoshop to appear online. I am waiting for that. However, thanks for sharing the link.
